The weight of the trailer is only 3,000 pounds and is easily towed with a half ton pickup or medium to large SUV. All components are premium and they all work properly. We especially like the double door refrigerator, the gas/electric water heater, both the microwave and the oven, fantastic fan in the bath, separate bedroom with flatscreen TV, living area TV with DVD and large single sink making it easy to wash even the largest pans. The dinette is large and comfortable as is the couch. Paneling and cabinets are all beautiful all wood and in as new condition. Vinyl wood floors are the nicest we've seen, way better than the laminated floors we have at home. The trailer comes with load leveling Reese hitch, a power hitch jack, and a rear 2" receiver for a bike carrier or cargo carrier. Exterior lights are LED, much brighter and safer than standard trailer lighting. All necessary maintenance has been done as needed, including cleaning and repacking of bearings more often than needed, about every 7,000 miles. After all the years we've moved around camping, we've decided to land in one place every Winter for the remainder of our years and have purchased a large trailer which will remain on our site permanently. That's the reason for selling the Elkmont. It's in excellent ready to travel condition and sold originally for just over $30,000. Current value is just under $17,000 as equipped. It's a great buy for $13,000! If you'd like to have a look, we live on Cape Cod. You could visit our wonderful tourist destination and check out the trailer at the same time. I truly believe that if you are looking for a high quality, trouble free, conventional travel trailer, you won't do better than this. Click here To See How Many Times Your Ad Has Been Viewed!
